i found art of a character i designed in 2009 in my old DA storage and immediately wanted to draw him again. so i made him a neopet, obviously. on one of the posts from 2009 of him, i said something like “i haven’t seen the dark knight yet, stop accusing me of copying the joker!!” as if it isn’t extremely obvious this dude is inspired by the joker. his name is peppermint jack, by the way.

if you remember this character, you don’t just quality for a senior discount, i want to know who you are because frankly i don’t think you exist and you have access to Deep Lore about me that even my oldest friends don’t know about.

This skeith is named Kushiel, and he is recolored to be solid black with glowing red markings on his belly, wings, and the insides of his ears. There is also a long, white stripe that extends from his lower lip down his neck, belly, and all the way to the tip of his tail. The white stripe has a cross-section which encircles Kushiel's neck. Two drawings of a Frankenstein-style zombie rabbit character. Its hide is a patchwork of different shades of green, and it has a white belly and white undersides on its feet and forepaws. Its fur is long and shaggy, and appears disheveled. Blood stains run along the stitched edges of each patch of differently colored fur. Its eyes are wide and unseeing, with deep red sclerae, and white irises. It also has standard rabbit teeth, but they are sharp and pointed. In the second drawing, the character's mouth is agape and dripping blood, with long, twisted wires emerging menacingly from its mouth. Its chest is torn open and spilling out blood-stained stuffing. More wires slither out from the rabbit's chest, twisting between its ribs and the empty hollow of its belly. The wires reach out and surround the rabbit like grasping claws.

this is a redesign of a previous design of mine that i felt was a bit boring. this is my attempt at making it a bit more interesting.

lore description:
this is a road-kill rabbit that was taxidermized as an art piece to look like a jackalope, that was then brought back to life via necromancy. it came back wrong, possibly possessed by something from hell (like pet sematary), and killed the person who brought it back to life. now it mindlessly wanders around attacking anyone it sees. it can control and use its wires like weapons. i also imagine it being dry and hollow, just a stitched-together hide stuffed with old, bloody, rotting sawdust and cotton.

this is also an adoptable. i’m asking $80 for it, or best offer. info about that will be in the comments.

There is an acceptance of inevitable and imminent defeat in the rigidness of their spine and the loose grip of their fingers.

this is a 2019 inktober drawing that i wanted to color. i recently got a bunch of new markers, and i wanted to test them out, so i colored this old lineart i had in my sketchbook.

btw it is unlikely i will be returning to digital art any time soon. so… it’s just gonna be sketchbook pics for a while.
